About the Firm

Founder + Build Expert

Jason Andreoli

Founder of The Build Firm. With 100 plus projects completed he has developed a wealth of knowledge in construction and real estate investment. He is suited to undertake projects of all shapes and sizes. Jason prides himself in his attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.

Managing Partner

Matt Clawson

With over 25 years of diverse creative experience, Matt joins The Build Firm as our Managing Partner. He launched his journey with a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. Afterward, he honed his creative talents as an Art Director in the competitive world of TV and Film in Los Angeles.

His career took a thrilling turn when he joined the pioneering new media startup, Maker Studios. In his early days there, he played a pivotal role in growing the company from a small Los Angeles office to a sprawling presence spanning nearly 100,000 square feet across multiple cities. Disney’s subsequent acquisition of the venture marked a turning point in his career, prompting Matt to explore his own path.

Working with both residential and commercial clients, Matt utilized his creative prowess to bring a wide range of customized projects to life. As Managing Partner, he combines his hands-on design and fabrication experience with his executive background, driving The Build Firm’s growth as one of the South Bay’s leading Design + Build + Consult firms.

The Process

Design

During our meeting we will go over your design goals and wants so we can make your dreams come to life. Our designers will work fiercely on the project until your satisfaction is met.

Planning

Planning is the most important step in the process and can save you 10's of thousands down the road. During the planning stage we take care of design, build, elevations, scheduling and estimating.

Construction and Warranty

During your build, we will take care of the Quality Control and Safety Management as well as manage the various subcontractors that will be working on your job.

Upon Completion of your project you will receive a Certificate of Occupancy meaning that all of the changes are up to code and receive a 1 year warranty on all work completed.

Jason @thebuildfirm did a two phase remodel for us on time and on budget all the while juggling a million details while keeping us happy and comfortable through the whole process. I run a preschool out of my home so he had to schedule our work during my school breaks and worked on a tight timeline as well. Not only is the work outstanding in quality he is highly design oriented and made changes here and there to upgrade the esthetic. He always uses top notch craftsmen who were all excellent pleasant and trustworthy. In phase one we upgraded our electrical installed HVAC and put on a new roof Raingutters termite roof repair and installed a pull down ladder to access the attic. In phase 2 we made the kitchen bigger and took out two walls one of which was a supporting wall so redid our roof and installed a footing and new support beams. He hired a custom cabinet maker and we remodeled the kitchen to my specifications and working with a designer @lpinteriors and Jason and the cabinet maker Sergio at Ardmore wood works we nailed my dream kitchen. We upgraded plumbing and added a tankless water heater as well. We also upgraded the back den took out popcorn ceiling moved the door jam and demoed the old electrical box bump as well as painted and added new flooring to match the existing flooring in the house white oak. We ran the same flooring through the kitchen and back room. Really Jason continues to go the extra mile in getting that punch list finished. This is a picture of him in our rafters vacuuming after our garage got debris after the roofing was done.
